Take control over your keys with Self-Managed Custody
In our Self Custody App, Auth Password not only grants you access to your account but also acts as a shield against unauthorized access attempts.
To change the Auth Password, follow these steps:
Log in to your account.
Navigate to the bottom right corner and click on the Settings icon.
Click on the [Change auth password] field.
Enter your current password to proceed.
Choose a new password and confirm it. Ensure that your new password meets the platform's requirements for strength and security.
Press [Change password] button.
After successfully updating your password, you will be able to log in using this new password from now on.

The Wallet Password is required to encrypt your wallet keys and is used for signing the transactions. It is not stored anywhere on the server, so be sure to keep it in a safe place.
To change the Wallet Password, follow these steps:
Log in to your account.
Navigate to the bottom right corner and click on the Settings icon.
Click on the [Change wallet password] field.
Enter your current password to proceed.
Choose a new password and confirm it. Ensure that your new password meets the platform's requirements for strength and security.
Press [Change password] button.
After successfully updating your password, you will be able to use this new password from now on.

The Seed Phrase, consisting of 12 words, serves as a critical component for resetting your Wallet Password. It acts as a secure backup, allowing you to regain access to your wallet in case of password loss or reset.

To open your Seed Phrase, follow these steps:
Log in to your account.
Navigate to the bottom right corner and click on the Settings icon.
Click on the [Seed phrase] field.
Enter your wallet password to proceed.
Upon successfully entering your password, the Seed Phrase will appear on your screen.

When adding a new wallet or performing certain operations, you'll be prompted to enter a Wallet Password, crucial for encrypting your wallet keys. If you've forgotten it, follow the steps below to recover access.
To decrypt the Wallet Password, follow these steps:
Locate and click on the [Forgot Password] option.
Enter your seed phrase (12-words) in the correct order.
(Separate each word with a single space only, without commas or another punctuation).
Click on the [Continue] button.
Choose a new password and confirm it. Ensure that your new password meets the platform's requirements for strength and security.
Once you have confirmed your new password, you will be able to use this new password from now on.
